January Community Service Project
We will be collecting stuffed bears or stuffed animals (new or gently loved) for the Rome & Floyd County police to use for children in crisis. Officers carry these stuffed animals in the trunk of their cars to comfort children who are in traumatic situations. You can drop off your stuffed animal(s) at the Board Office or bring it to the January meeting.

Hopefully everyone has seen the “Buy Now-Ask a REALTOR®” ads in the Rome News-Tribune and on www.hometownheadlines.com. The orange yard signs will also be popping up around town. The advertising committee has done a great job with this campaign designed to promote confidence in the real estate market and convince the public that this is a good market with a great selection of homes, low interest rates and motivated sellers.

Riley Addison, born in November.
- Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Terri Duck,
Greater Rome Bank. Terri will be missed.

on the arrival of their daughter, Kathryn Ruth, on Dec. 9.

born on January 3.
Congratulations - Award Recipients
Congratulations to Dale McKinney and Bill Summer, who were each presented with the 2007 Humanitarian of the Year Award. Jim Harrington installed Annette Smith, Brooke Temple and Tommy White into the Hall of Fame. The 2007 REALTOR® of the Year award was presented to Mary Patton. 2008 GAR President, Van Johnson, installed our 2008 Officers and Directors at our December 5 Christmas luncheon.
The dues statements have been sent to all offices and emails were sent to all members. If you have not received your dues statement, call the Board Office immediately.
Dues must be paid by February 1, 2008 to avoid a late charge. Thanks to all members who have paid so promptly!
